I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere, so I figure I'll ask - anybody have any luck upgrading to a newer version (than 267.21) of the nVidia video drivers on the M14x? I tried a few more current builds at LPV2G, and they caused all kinds of goofy problems, so I had to revert back to the stock drivers.
Also, being somebody who's laptop is plugged in 100% of the time (being mobile is what I have an iPad 2 for), I'm not a huge fan of Optimus. I've tried a few "make the 555m on all the time" type deals and nothing has felt as seamless/good as a non-Optimus system.

The issue is that nvidia didnt incorporate dell nvidia graphics card with their updates. All you have to do is get a .nvdm file, and replace it with the one in the new driver folder. then install, here's the link: http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m14x/576365-installing-nvidia-270-61-issue.html

Thanks for the info, I'll try that version. I tried a 273.XX and it installed but had all kinds of odd glitches, didn't play well with Optimus at all.
