Searching around for a new lap I found this one what you guys think about it?
    Sager NP8150-S1
    - 15.6” FHD 16:9 LED Backlit Wide screen (1920x1080)
    - - 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM
    - - IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU
    - ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD6970 2048MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11
    - ~ 8,192MB DDR3 1333MHz Dual Channel Memory (2 SODIMMS)-
    - ~Combo 8x8x6x4x Dual Layer DVD +/-R/RW 5x DVD-RAM 24x CD-R/RW - ~ 500GB (w/ 4GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid- Internal 7-in-1 Card Reader (MS/MS Pro/MS Duo/MS Pro Duo/SD/Mini-SD/MMC/RS)
    - Intel® Advanced-N 6230 - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module + Bluetooth
    - Built in 2.0 Megapixel Camera
    - Integrated Fingerprint Reader

For what I could see is has the same M14x dimensions but .2lb heavier, MXM upgradeable and better VC, better hybrid HDD, better thermal paste, up to 16GB Ram (for me useless but...), blue ray combo drive, full hd display, for the same price. The question is, is this brand as good as AW? How good is their cooling system to push this hot VC on a 15" laptop?
So what you guys think about the competition? Which would you choose? I am not taking account stylish or stuff like that… just performance, portability, price and reliability.

The same price??? If the 8150 is the same price as the M14x for you, then go with the 8150. Sager/Clevo is good stuff. I would totally buy the 8150 if it were the same price (with the 6970M as you state above) as the M14x in the USA.

Actually I mixed it up a little because I was configuring as I was writing the thread... The thing is with GTX460 it is +-1400 and with 6970 it is +-1600…. Anyway very close (depending even cheaper) for a much better card, the question as you answered is if it is as reliable as AW, and the cooling will handle the VC. And by the way I configured it at xoticpc....

The only problem with that is there is no Optimus in the 8150. The 460m is a better card but not by a ton. The 6970m on the other hand...

@Nanias - I'll just say this. Lots of people buy Mustang cars. They spend lots of money to add turbos and gears and nitrous and stickers and wings and all kinds of stuff to make them as fast as a Porsche or Ferrari. In the end why do all of that when you could just buy the Ferrari?

My point is... Just buy the Ferrari. Alienware IS that Ferrari.
