    M14xr1 Mic issues

    Hi guys,

    Lately any application that uses a mic such as Skype, or games like ARMA have not been picking up my mic at all. When i talk people cannot hear me or if they can it is the faintest, smallest, lowest sound you could possibly hear. I updated my audio driver to the latest date and all that stuff. I have messed in control panel with my "recording" tab and haven't found anything that can help besides moving the sliders for mic power and making my mic go at "30 db". my friend is getting Day Z tomorrow and i would absolutely love to communicate with him :p

    Is there anything i can do to? I have tried the built in mic, i have tried an external mic that was built into my headset, (a pair of skullcandy's that worked on my iphone)

    I had the same issue. The mic is probably dead :(
