hey guys.. im using my m14x and the fan turns on alot once it hits 55. Which is does while loading a page for a second then drops back down to 50 degrees. Once the fan turns on, it never turns off ever! So i was wondering what the max fan speed in RPM's is for the m14x? also anyone with the custom A05 bios.. could they please post their fan settings? thanks alot guys :)

I use A03 unlocked. During idle fan starts at 60c (CORRECTION 55c). During gaming it shoots up to sound level of a Bios flash. But temps are 5c better than A05 both at load and browsing.

    CPU 83c
    GPU 66c

I used to have A05 unlocked and my experience was, that whatever settings I changed in the fan section, it had no effect on the first turn-on threshold for 55c. I have processor throttling set to 90c instead of 85c default. Fan value 1 starts at 70c speed 80%. Fan 2 starts at 75c speed 100% which never turned on during my use of A05.

    CPU 83-85c
    GPU 69-72c

interesting.. but any chances you know what RPM's the fan is at with those percentages? I really dont want to risk loosing warrenty because of using a modified bios. I use HWinfo 64 and it lets me set according to RPM. Just not sure what the laptops max RPM is :S

Download HwInfo and click the sensors tab, you'll have the fans speed, temperatures etc.
