This microphone is driving me bloody crazy.

Just recently has the entire screen replaced with a new microphone as well as the speakers and sub woffer.

Mic still refuses to work and emits an ear splitting screeching noise whenever I try to listen to the playback through my speakers.

    Anyone help or advise?

Have you tried a headset that has a mic? If they replaced everything it sounds like it might be a software issue...

No mic, no mater if it's internal or external is registering my voice.
It has to be a software/ firmware problem as I've had the parts replaced.

I know it sounds obvious but have you tried going into control panel, then sound.
Then clicking on the recording tab and select the microphone and click properties. Click on the listen tab and make sure that "listen to this device" is not ticked?

I had this ticked once and it gives mad crazy feedback screeching at you all the time.

Already checked that. Ticked or Unticked I still can't hear myself or be heard by others online. There is also no feedback on the meter next to the microphone icon in the sound menu.
