This is just my general opinion but Dell's Ultrasharp monitors and LG's IPS monitors both displayed better images at my local Bestbuy store.

I'm waiting for D3. and also future gaming purposes. those games are my current ones that i am playing. I also have plently of steam games in my Lib, Shogun2, total wars etc. Also SC2 etc.

I just dun like the feeling of Always adjusting my game graphic details between different games. Just get a good one and will fix the problem yea :)

What monitor? I always play with the M14x's monitor, beside, I dont mind WoW, but Dragon Nest, I dont think you need a BIG monitor to play that games, because for me I only need a BIG monitor for games like Shooter (for higher FOV) and RTS (for better view over the battlefield).

Guys I don't think the guy was asking for what you would do, or not do, he was asking which was the best monitor to buy. I think it would be more helpful to post something helpful.

Personally I plug mine into my TV and use that. It's awesome. However it isn't always practical due to the mrs wanting it. I use a 40" Sharp HDTV however I appreciate that's too big for most. I can also highly recommend the Samsung range, they're awesome too :)

The Dell ultrasharp has been highly recommended by main. They are often on sale. Never seen one personally but been looking around at what others think of them.

Im in the same boat in the need for a monitor and it appears IPS screen technology is the way to go.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster PX2370 it's 23" and it wasn't too expensive. colour and contrast are pretty good and it has 2ms response time! I use HDMI and have speakers plugged into the monitor so I get to skip plugging in audio to my laptop since it works through that. Seems like a good setup to me

running a dell u2312hm (IPS 23" monitor) on min display port or vga. works really well with excellent colour accuracy.
