I realize 80GB is a bit small for an SSD but I am thinking someone at dell swapped the images when they did a restore on here. The HD is configured as the OS and the 80GB is configured as the Data partition. Is this right? Was planning on wiping and installing 8.1 anyway was just curious.
This is in very good condition for an outlet machine. Ended up paying $1800~ OTD with 4 year extended. This lightup touchpad is cool. Why didn't we get this on the 17"![]()

The 1 TB + 80 GB SSD is set up where the SSD is a cache, not a boot drive; it'll be a storage drive when un-caching the HDD. The HDD is the boot drive.

Well I have the exact same setup and the 80 GB SSD is (by default) setup as speed enhancer for the first 64GB (maximum possible) and the rest (11GB) is formated and used as DATA...
I think you could always uste the 80GB as a primary partition for your OS and some apps and then use the 1TB as DATA only... I might go that route too... -
Can you explain how that is configured? There's no option in the BIOS for that? Is this something configured within Windows?
