Okay, I have a request. Could that awesome guy who made the .inf file for the last beta nvidia drivers possibly (if you could) make another .inf file for the newest drivers that just came out. I'll be your pal for life.

Okay, yes I see the latest driver but nothing about a .inf file to go with it. I see a tab that says inf enhancer. I apologize I have only recently been having to do the whole .inf file thingy...stupid alienware.

This driver shouldn't require an inf file to install. As it is listed as compatible on the nVidia website.

I downloaded and tried to install the new drive it says no compatible hardware found. Maybe I need the .inf file to install it

Hmm, odd. The nvdm.inf file that comes with the driver has the card listed in it.
    UPDATE: the site says...

    Under supported products:

It's not for the 555M. the beta version 275.27 is pretty much very stable for me.

The new driver works great. Fixes the problem with IE 9 and the 275.27 beta driver. Of course, to install, you will need the modified .inf file found at Laptoptogo -- search on drivers.

What's the general consensus of this driver? Is it better than the BETA drivers?

    Hi,

I notice your modded .inf file is "nvdm.inf". The one on LaptopToGo is "nvwi.inf". What's the difference? Thanks.

dont know honestly, I dont use the laptop to go ones anymore but replacing the nvdm one will install the driver package, which is ultimately what matters.

Umm, what do you do with the modded inf file? I downloaded it and extracted it but the new drivers still won't install. Where exactly is this file to be placed?

    C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\275.33\Vista 64-bit\International\Display.Driver

Put the .infv file in this folder...then go back to here: C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\275.33\Vista 64-bit\International Click on the setup icon.

Do this after you extract the files for the new drivers..you should see the folder for the new drivers in your nvidia folder. even though setup will stop you from installing the drivers a folder will be put there witch says 275.33

Thanks for the above .inf file, as ever. :)

Just thought I'd mention these drivers cause graphical corruption on Crysis 2, so I have had to roll back.

double click the executable file you downloaded and extract it to a folder on your desktop, then move the modified inf file to the folder that has the original inf, replace, then run the setup file in the extracted folder :)
