    No sounds!

    well this have been popping out lately

    when i restart my PC i don't have a sound (the sound thing has an X over it )

    i have to shut down and restart it multiple times until its found

    any clues or something will be useful

    this also happens to me and its annoying, I also have to restart my computer until it shows up.

    R2 - Newest drivers - if u are asking do i have sound blaster yes but the sound blaster works fine my problem is with the windows sounds

    PS: i tried to update my sound driver but it didn't help

    Hello,
    I've got the same problem (m14x-r2 bought on july), i followed all threads regarding this issue, I've updated all drivers and flashed bios with latest (A04) but after some weeks where the problem seemed fixed, this week the audio was gone again.
    I did lot of tests, tried to restart the laptop with no external devices attached (like external monitor, usb peripherals, bluethoot devices etc), tried turning it on with headphone plugged, tried almost everything, but nothing seems to work more the once in a while, this is a totally random behaviour/bug and of course is totally annoying.
