Two drivers, the Nvidia WHQL driver and the other from the Dell website labeled a Beta with the same version number. Which one should I use?

    Verde 285.62 Driver

    vs.

    nVidia Notebook BETA Driver (NV)

Why is Dell calling a release driver a beta? Which one should I use?

Honestly, I would assume because they don't know how it handles on the m14x and to cover their own asses until they see if its a stable drivers from users.

They always call any new release beta most of the time :p
