    Nvidia driver updater can't detect graphics card to update it!

    I'm trying to update to the latest drivers found here: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

    My card is using driver version 267.21, and the downloaded file/program is supposed to update to version 270.61. However, the updater says it can't find a compatible graphics card and quits instead of updating. This Optimus thing is pretty cool, except when it makes me unable to play games or update my graphics card. :mad:

    Any suggestions on how to get the latest drivers?

    EDIT: It turns out that updated drivers for the graphics card have to come from Dell/Alienware. I feel that it's going to be like waiting for Motorola to update to the next version of Android that was released 6 months ago.

    Why don't you just download the NVIDIA 275 beta driver ? there are step by step instructions on this forum. works great.
