Just installed a new SSD, everything seems to be normal except for the sound, I installed the realtek audio driver and have had trouble ever since. I only have 1 available option in my playback device, (for example, when I played BF3 before, the game sound would come through the laptop speakers and voice would come through the headset, I have the 3.5mm jack headphones just to verify).

I've done clean installs with my original HDD that came in my m14x, I've installed all the drivers I thought I needed, can't remember if I'm missing any, any and all help is appreciated thanks!

There could be a possibility that the default windows audio driver is your issue. I know this is probably a stupid question but I'll go for it anyways: Is your system completely updated?
