    Hello,
    I was in the process of replacing my optical drive with an SSD but in the process the pins on the orange ribbon broke off. So I thought I could buy another one, but have been fruitless in my efforts. Does any one know when I can purchase another ribbon so I can at least put back in the optical drive. The part that connects to the motherboard is fine it's the end that plugs into the optical which i borked up.....Please help

    No idea ...but i would seriously wanna know too....why dont you try calling up dell and asking them for one
