Hi, I just got my m14x and tried playing crysis 2 but i had horrible framerates on High settings. I think it might be because the laptop was using the intel card to play the game? I was playing while unplugged so is that a factor? How do I make sure that games run on the gt555m and not the intel card? TIA :)

if you're on BIOS A03, don't play it on high on battery..i don't think there's any better advice anyone can give you.

Anyway, for making sure the NVIDIA card is used, you'll have to whitelist the game via the NVIDIA control panel..i believe it's under the 3d settings, Mange 3d settings, then you pick the program and choose to use the high performance card.

Yes because the battery don't have enough power, so the GPU is downlocked when your m14x is unplugged. But, why do you want to play unplugged?

I was kinda wondering about that. All the games I played on battery still ran pretty decent on battery but i noticed the difference. Sad to hear it is actually downclocking it.
