After dueling with tech support for over an hour and a half, I say get out now. Freaking ridiculous service!

My M11x R2 was delayed last year when I ordered it around June or July. They were offering a deal with a free i7 processor upgrade when I ordered, and the customer rep I spoke to said that they were overwhelmed with the number of orders for that deal, causing the delay. I think they were willing to give me faster shipping for free as a result, if I recall correctly.

Okay, so I called...and basically all I got was "I understand your concern sir... but quite frankly we don't give a crap"

Also, the guy has no idea if the order is going to be delayed again, or why it was delayed. Just a bunch of morons. He did offer me to cancel and reinstate the order which could possibly get the order shipped to me faster. Should I take it?

Say it a couple more hundred times and you'll have caught up to me :)

Mine was more along the lines of "*expletive* idiots" though :)

Yeah, he did offer to reinstate the order, but when I asked him "wouldn't that just put my order at a lower priority than it currently is". He just replied "uhh...I don't no sir" in his silly Indian accent.

But I feel ya, this is frustrating knowing you threw $2000 dollars at them and they're treating it like its garbage.

I think you should just call the US line, they're a lot more helpful when it comes to that. I ordered from an American agent and he helped me get 270 dollars off my order. If anything, I think the US sales reps might have more pull and can probably expedite your order if you complain to them.

That's the EPP number but it almost always connects me to a US sales rep. You can inquire with them about your order also.

    Doesn't work, I'm in Canada :( .

*Edit, called again. They said they will do everything to make sure the order is shipped as fast as possible. Apparently somebody forgot to install the wireless card, and they have to reinstall it, and reprocess it.

So quite frankly I've no idea when I'm going to get it. Next week if I'm lucky.

They should be doing nbd shipping.. If you're bored and have nothing to do, you could call and complain a bunch to see if you can get some sort of a discount since it was basically their fault. They forgot the wireless card :) you could try for upgrades, but that'll just delay your order more..

Act like you're gonna cancel it. Just complain like hell. Say that you're dissatisfied with the service and the amount of time it's taken.
