Download nVIDIA System tools 6.06 from the nVIDIA website NVIDIA DRIVERS 6.06

After you installed it, make sure you have your fans set to full blast (Max RPM)

You should install the System tools, after that, right-click your desktop, there should be the nVIDIA control panel.

It should add the "performance" option.

    Have fun!

PS: If you want to mess with the CPU, just go to BIOS, on the loading screen, press F2 :D

+1 Rep me if this works

So is this better or MSI afterburner?
the fact that it lets us set the fans speed makes it better?

also I've heard the CPU i7 2630QM should be fast enough and we dont have to overclock it?
I also don't know if we should overclock RAM (which is 1600 mhz) and how to overclock RAM?

MSI afterburner only overclocks the GPU. I used both the nvidia and MSI programs, I prefer the afterburner, its much more simpler for quick overclocking. You can overclock ram in the bios, very easy to do. I think its enable ram overclocking, and select 1600mhz. Keep in mind that the 2630qm doesn't run ram at 1600mhz by default, you have to overclock the ram to get it at that speed.

could you tell me how to overclock the RAM? step by step
    I know nothing about BIOS

So the RAM actually not running at 1600 even though it is 1600 stock?
I have to overclock GPU using afterburner, and overclock RAM in BIOS in order to perform best in games?

What do I have to be aware of when overclocking RAM?

    Thanks for your help

+1 I agreed, MSi Afterburner is more like a user-friendly program.

EDIT: The program above does NOT support GT555M! Have a look at the "Supported Products" Tab. Plus Those supported GPU are for Desktop!

Well off the top of my head I cant really give you an exact guide, but it's straight forward. Press f2 i believe, at the very beginning at start up to access the bios, use the right arrow buttons till you find a screen with memory options. Should be something that says overclocking enabled/disabled. Check enabled, and select 1600mhz under it. Im gonna restart and check it out so i can give you an exact guide.

EDIT:To have ram running at 1600mhz: Press F2 at startup at the alienware boot screen to enter bios- at bios screen, press enter and scroll right to the advanced tab- select performance options-the enable overclocking features-go to memory frequency and set it at 1600. It's probably set at 1333 at default.

With the ram overclock you might not see a difference, but your benchmark results might be a little better. The 2630qm can run 1600mhz ram, but not at default. Nothing at all to worry about. GPU overclocking, you gotta watch temps and artifacts (errors in the images.) Never really let the gpu go over 80 degrees c. I keep mine below 74. All you gotta change is the core speed to around 700-750, shader clock should adjust accordingly and automatically (should be double the core speed) and gpu ram you can keep at 1000.
