I was looking into buying this model and I thought it would benefit everyone to have a thread for all the discounts available. Also, please feel free to post if you know a sales rep that gives great deals( please ask for their permission first). Any ways to save money would be helpful. Thanks everyone!

Ok, I found my first really good deal. If you sign up with Member Purchase Program and Dell Advantage, there is a small glitch when buying a PC over $891.99. You are supposed to need a student id or something, but I left it blank and still got a discount. I went to dell.com and clicked on Member Purchase Program and continued to Alienware. I started customizing the M14x, which already had about $20 off. I added the i7 for $100 which isn't neccessary. When I added it to the Member Purchase Program Cart, it instantly took off $100. I thought I should try the code from my original tab where I didn't go through MPP first, and got another $100 off. That code is: 46L76RRW433C3L. With Dell Advantage, I also got a 10% back of my purchase eCard and free 2nd day shipping. When I called to bargain, a few people were checking because they saw it was a glitch. On my third call, I asked for $50 and the rep, Harris Sharonda for Dell, gave it to me! I got the i7 version of the M14x R2 for $900 including tax,
2nd day shipping, and a $90 gift card for future purchases at Dell. I'm sure that they will find this soon so try to take advantage of it while you can. For all I know it is gone already. Good luck!
