    Hello,

I have an m14x r2 connected to external lcd tv through VGA. I keep my laptop as primary and extend disktop to the external. However, when I close the lid, the external becomes primary. How can I prevent that from happening? I already selected "when I close the lid: do nothing" so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Please help me solve this problem as it's very annoying and I don't like to keep my lid open all the time.

If you choose to make it sleep when the lid is closed it will not switch but the external monitor will go to sleep as well. I'm not sure if it can be done the way you want it, but maybe the latest intel driver will help.

Same behavior happens to me even with my old hp laptop and I'm also using the same option "when I close the lid: do nothing". So my guess is, this is not a problem with m14x r2..
