I just downloaded Oblivion Game of the Year Edition. The Oblivion.exe is set to run with the NVIDIA dedicated graphics by default, but the OblivionLauncher.exe file is set by default to run with the Intel Graphics HD family (the integrated poop). When I use the launcher and go to graphics options, there is not even the option to switch it to the dedicated graphics, and I have tried whitelisting the launcher and it does not do it for some reason (though I have whitelisted Oblivion.exe).

So I ran this game through Steam even though it said it was using the Intel Graphics HD family, with 1600x900 resolution on what I think was Ultra-high, and with V-Sync FRAPS gave me 60 FPS. Does this mean it is running on the dedicated graphics card?

It is running on the dedicated card. If you change Oblivion.exe to run on the IGP, itll say 555M in the launcher. And then vice versa. Its extremely weird, but youre fine. Mine does the same exact thing

Cool, thanks for replying. No other game I run (even Bethesda games like Fallout) does that.
