Re : Accidental Warranty's Price.

I've extended my normal warranty to 2years , another $300 and add on accidental warranty for $300. Total $600 for 2years warranty I was wondering if that's expansive? its like $300 per year.

 

It seem a bit over for a m14x. New machine tops out 1.5kish iirc.
700 can buy you a i7 +650m machine today.

Though if you "accidentally" have accident with the machine then it's another story.

 

Same as insurance policies, they're expensive but worth the price if something happens.

Thanks. Quick question while I'm here. I do have the three year accidental, and next year will be my last year. Do you think they would just replace the battery for me before it expires? I only get about 2.5-3 hours now, and a new one would probably give it some life. Wont replace until 2014 though

 

As far as I understand the battery is only covered for a year due to the differences on the battery wear depending on the users.
