I just put a Samsung 830 128gb SSD in my fairly new Alienware 14x R1 laptop. While I was putting it together the pressure tab on the optical drive broke. It was tight enough that it was still in the connector. I am getting very low write scores with my SSD. I'm running A05 BIOS. What could the problem be?

It is unchecked. I reinstalled Windows 7 and did the drive order differently and I am now getting around 300 write with 485 read.
