Anyone here running an SSD and an HDD in an m14x? Is it possible? I'm thinking of buying a 128 gb ssd for a boot drive if this is possible.

It's possible if you get a HDD caddy to replace the DVD drive. But an easier solution is to get an mSATA SSD if all you need is a boot drive. It's not quite as fast as a dedicated SSD, but you get to keep the DVD, HDD and you get the speed boost on the boot drive.
