    Hello all m14x users :)

I just bought my Alienware m14x on the 1st OCT. I really liked it, after using it for one day , i noticed that i din't have bluetooth in my system (here i did not note any graphics issue , so i don't know it was alright before), but i had ordered it, i thought i might be a driver issue so i begin to install it from the CD, after a lot of searching from internet , i decided to Re-install Windows 7 from the DVD that came along with my system, and there one mistake took place , i installed it on My Recovery Partition :( [I know, I am very stupid]. Now my recovery was gone :l , I formatted everything and re-installed Windows 7 in the right place and cleared my Recovery Disc , Now my recovery is blank. So, the installation took place and i installed every driver from the Resource CD : 1. Intel HD Graphics 3000
    2. nVidia version 267.. etc etc. EVERYTHING.

Now , i note that there is HD graphics problem all over my screen , here are the screenshots: [I suggest please click to open up the pic to see the detailed view of the prob.]

I am really worried soul now because in the first week of my Alienware i messed up :(

If anyone has any solution , please feel free to help me out. and If anyone bought Alienware m14x within these days or before , Please can i have the factory recovery image partition image? I will be the happiest person alive if you share it with me.

Err, sorry but what exactly is the problem with those picture anyway?

For Bluetooth you need to install the driver to have it work, and you can check if it available by press and hold Fn + F3, from there you'll see 4 option, the one with grey out mean either it is unavailable or driver not yet install for M14x to recognize it.

Those pictures might not look wrong here, but IT IS :p i can see it blocky images, and even on Youtube when i turn the 1080p on, i don't really feel its HD, the video still seems as if i am playing 360p :l

and forget about the bluetooth problem, its solved now :)

Right click on the desktop, Graphics Properties, goto the power settings, and set it to max performance for battery and plugged in. Then in 3D settings, set to "Quality," that should remove the "optimizations," Intel puts in for "better," IGP performance.

EDIT: dang, doesn't work for me, either. I had to switch over (on my lappy) to the AMD GPU to get rid of the "blockiness." :(

Dude, you're not gonna get rid of all the pixels of an image. It has nothing to do with your screen, it's just how the pictures are. Like that one of the seals, that picture isn't a high quality picture, so you're going to see pixels. It doesn't upscale photos.

And the extra large folder icons? Are EXTRA LARGE. Anything that is blown up to be bigger than it's supposed to be is going to have pixels.

As for YouTube, their HD sucks. And note that the m14X does not support 1080p, the max is 900p. And it also depends on the actual video. Some look like actual HD, others are just "HD".
