I had the Alienware M14x for a couple of days. The shining screen is bit annoying. Is there a fix for it? Anybody tried matte finish screen protectors on it? I wonder whether it is worth trying.

I have the 'semi-matte' protector that dell sells. IMHO its worth the $ and work to apply.

How much of a difference does it make? Do you have photos after the application? Any issues with bubbles?

its not a true matte finish, but its much better than looking at the shiny screen. mine has no bubbles under it, but i took almost an hour to install it to make sure it was perfect. i forget its there until someone say something about them.

Thanks for that seelezerkleiner. There are some cheap options on eBay. I wonder if anybody tried those.
