This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     ...until I noticed that they installed a 32gb Samsung 830 mSata SSD that I sure didn't request or pay for...

    That said, is this thing even big enough to run Windows 7 off of?

    Theoretically? Yes. In practice? No. It's just used for fast caching.

    A fresh install of Windows 7 will fit into a 32GB drive, but there is very little "maneuvering room" there for system updates, cache, etc. And you can forget about installing any other startup programs (like antivirus) on that drive as well.
