Delll made the Alienware 14 disappear, without warning, when the 13 appeared. No clearance of stock, no explanation, nothing, as far as I have seen.

Looks like they pushed the remaining stock to retailers. FutureShop in Canada has many of the 14's. I have seen them on display at both Futureshop, and Best Buy (which owns Futureshop).

Since the 14 can no longer be configured on the Dell site, I can't tell if the prices at Futureshop are good. The 14's are $1950 and $1650.

Futureshop's website lists two 14's, two 17's, and one 18.

In other words, if the 14 is still what you want, you may be in luck...

    Details can be seen at:
Laptops & Macbooks: Apple Macbook Pro & Air - Future Shop

If only it had a touchscreen, I would be very, very tempted......

    Searching FutureShop Canada for Alienware:
Search Results for Alienware - Future Shop

This search shows on 18" model, two 17" models, and two 14" models. However, it seens like the two 17" units have the same specs, and the two 14" units have the same specs, so they appear to be duplicated listings. In other words, FS has only three models for sale.

The 14" under for $1,799.99CDN has: 1920,1080, i7-4700MQ, 1GB HD and 80Gb SSD, 16Gb, NVIDIA GeForce GTX76 w/2Gb, 11AC. More details can be seen at:
    Alienware 14
Is that a good price for these specs?

I think the 14 is about $400 too high at this point since that graphics card is older now. If you are ok with a larger screen size I would go for a 15.6" from MSI, Asus or Sager.

    Since you live in Canada
Reflexnotebook.ca is your Source for the Sager NP8268 / Clevo P150SM -A in Canada

If you want to stick with a smaller screen this is a good option
Reflexnotebook.ca is your Source for the Sager NP7338 / NP7338 - Clevo W230SS in Canada

Or check out NCIX.CA and have a look at what they have.
