Hi guys, i need your advice about applying this thermal adhesive tape to the pch chipset from the motherboard : Akasa Thermal Solution

I want to put this on the chipset and upper the tape put it back again the thermal pad that already included from factory, my objetive is cooldown the temperature from that chipset...
it worth doing this ? another solution instead of this idea ?
Thx a lot to all of you!

I don't see any reason to, that chip doesn't really get very hot and you can't overclock it (what would that accomplish anyway?). It's basically the equivalent of a Southbridge in an older system.

Yes that's pretty good for a mobile chip.

i dont really feel that comfortable with my PCH temps on occasion hitting 68-69. it just seems pretty hot for a chipset. I did replace the thermal tape which dropped it a couple degrees. I dont know if these temps are related to the extra load of my ram is runnning @ 2133 or that I run RAID0 SSD's. they just seem quite a bit higher than I have seen for a chipset in the past.

So, you recommend me to put that adeshive tape on the Pch chipset to cooldown the temp?

That's normal on these machines. You won't have any problems running at those temperatures.
