    Touchpad not responding

    I have the driver installed, and the touchpad's LED light is lit, but the buttons and the touchpad don't work. The icon also doesn't appear in the taskbar.
    Maybe one of the connectors is loose? That's one thing I can think of but any other options?

    Could be the ribbon cable is not inserted properly or is damaged. Those ribbon cables can get damaged as they are removed and re-inserted enough times.

    I know this may seem to obvious but it's worth to check. Do you see a touchpad FN key? It has happened to me before. lol.

    You could as well check on the device manager for it.
