Hi, just figure out playing GTA 4 today so I downloaded a copy and install. Installation was smooth until the game area.

I went into graphic setting in GTA 4 and I saw all the settings are at the lowest. Tried to make it higher but stuck with a message

"Your graphic setting are near or exceed suggested resources limit. .. ... .. .. ...."

    Resources usage
    275mb / 85mb ?

I believe 85mb should be the integrated card?

I tried running the game by selecting Graphic processor - High end Nvidia but no use.

The cooling fan kicks in as usual as when Nvidia card is on but somehow in the game it isn't.

Any idea guys? I am using the 1.5gb card with 8gb ram.

This is a very old problem I used to had with GTA 4, read my old post Here for Solution Because during that time even you update the driver (I use 275.33 in that time) it still not working, so you need to paste in the command line to get it work.

And here is for the Benchmark GTA 4 Benchmark This benchmark is made after a fellow M14x user demand to see the performance of the game on my Laptop.

    Good grace for this game.
Initially the game was running okay
Then comes the spinning stuffs.. Searched online and uninstall all Human I.D. drivers
But after that the game lags.. Change texture to medium.. and I become sea sick again
    Holy moly >.>

    Tried with the commands :
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" -width 1600 -height 900 -refreshrate 60 -availablevidmem 8000 -percentvidmem 100 -nomemrestrict -norestrictions

can play but game keep crashing. Fed up. Game close >.>
