I bought an m14x off craigslist Canada and after I registered it on the Dell website and checking the warranty status, they tell me 'There are no service contracts or warranties associated with this system.' The ship date was 2 months ago, so there should be at least 10 more months of warranty, assuming every system comes with at least a year of warranty. Is this normal or do only extended warranties show up? What do you suggest I do?

    Thanks for your time.

Call Dell and give them your Service Tag. It's on the bottom of your laptop.

This was happen to me too, but when I called Dell, they said it is a website glitch, and when they ask me for the service tag, they confirm that I still got 1.5 years left of warranty.
