    Weird ticking noise.

    Recently i started to notice that my Alienware M14x makes a ticking noise when the fans are going full blast. It's slightly difficult to describe but it's similar to when insects hit the window?

    I think it started about a week ago and I'm just not too what to do. My M14x is not even a month old.

    Dont worry, it happen to ALL of the M14x, just before the fan turn on, you'd hear a ticking sound. Plus if you havent notice, there is another, which is the pop sound from the sub woofer, it seem to happen when you double click on something, but it is not all the time, usually when you mute the speaker.

    Phew that reassures me. So it's normal that it is constantly ticking until the fans die down?

    Hm no, it's normaly ticking for like 1sec or 2 then you should just hear the fan...
