    What SPECS do you use when you play GTA 4?

    i am very frustrated as i can only play GTA 4 with all settings on low because it lags. HELP! ive seen this guy "nikoxxoo" or something on youtube that has GTA4 and i think he plays on high settings. i cant! i have installed the latest 280.26 driver for my gt555m 3gb and modded the inf thing. what settings do YOU guys play on for gta 4? btw i my GTA 4 is from steam, if that has anything to do with it. and i also use McAfee antivirus. please help, i bought this $1,800 machine and it cant run GTA 4?!

    you mean this? "-width 1280 -height 720 -refreshrate 60 -availablevidmem 8000 -percentvidmem 100 -nomemrestrict -norestriction" you play with all settings maxed out and the game doesnt lag? what nvidia drivers you got? is it modded?

    I use the newest (modded) Nvidia driver and there it was not needed to editi the *.exe with some commenlines.

    i did not overclock anything.

    I can max ecerything but the shadow (it's "only" high).

    is you CPU working fine at 100% ?!
    when i unplug my powersupply, my CPU goes down to 60% (i configured it that way in the power-settings of windows) and than it lags all the time - not depending on any grafik-settings.

    I'm on the 275.33 driver and don't have problems playing now. (275.27 worked too)

    Yes, no lag so far, My version is still the 275.33 (modded) I max out left over the thing like shadow, AA etc... as it is not so important. and it run smoothly.

    WHY is the cpu usage only 21%? and why does the video adapter say INTEL HD GRAPHICS? how to fix! i whitelisted the game in nvidia settings too!

    Oh for the benchmark, dont use it because it is useless, as the game Will just say it using Intel iGP, and try in the power option, try limit the minimum to somewhere between 50% - 100% and maximum is 100%

    but i can only play at everything low settings! question! 1.how do i make it use nvidia gpu? (i already whitelist) 2. why doesnt it use more then 21% cpu? i put my settings to High Performance!
