    You might already know this but you need i7 2720 or higher to support the 1600, so if you have a 2630 you do not need to buy 1600

    Would the lower voltage help preserve battery life and would it affect performance?

    The earlier links look good though. You save $100 over what Alienware charges you and probably end up getting a better brand.

    On the M14X, are both ram slots easily accessible? And are there any disadvantageous/voided warranties from replacing the ram yourself?
