    Why does my GPU overclock always reset?

    I overclock my GPU with MSI afterburner and overclock the core to 740. I also check the apply at startup box.

    But I just checked MSI, and it was reverted back to 590.

    Why does this happen? How can I keep it at 740? does it have anything to do with unplugging the system?

    it's a good idea to only OC the GPU when playing games

    doesn't MSI have a option to make shortcut for games that would launch in OC mode?
