hey guys.. i just realized this today .. but while playing video games my graphics card goes up to about 65 degrees but my CPU went up to 95 degrees!!??? at idle the temps are fine.. but the second i run the cpu at 100% the temperatures automatically jump up 20 degrees!? does anyone else have this issue? i used cpuid and core temp to monitor cpu temps.. :S the laptop runs fine.. but these temps seem way too high :S :(

windows rating test brings it up to 85 degrees.. can someone else please run these tests and see what temps they get? thanks :) hoping to hear from people :)

edit 2.. : also found another thread where many users are reporting temps around this high :S

Sandy bridge does get hot under load, really close to the threshold. My gpu while gaming stay's around 65 and my cpu goes 35-30 degrees higher. That's "normal" for this laptop apparently. You can get a laptop cooler if you're worried.

yea.. i already have a nice laptop cooler thats aluminum with holes in it.. good for ventilation.. plus has 2 fans.. its a cooler master.. and my house was at about 25 degrees when i saw these temps on the laptop. Also turning off intels turbo boost really helps! so i ended up doing that. For games.. i was running COD black ops on full tilt in 1080P on my tv.. looked amazing.... beat down the consoles and made them look bad! :)
