    Hi, its me again
Installed nvidia drivers and now I get crash on startup, can't access startup options to get to safe mode either. So I tried to reinstall of the dell OS disk and it boots fine and all but when I click begin install it comes up with a message saying no device drivers found. I put in the dell driver disk but it does nothing. I can't continue and I already formatted the old install in a previous attempt through legacy boot mode. Any ideas? Its an alienware 14 with i7-4700mq and gtx 765m normal DVD drive not bluray
    Thanks, I'm really stuck here

Try disabling secure boot, also you could try creating a bootable USB.

Thanks I tried turning of secure boot, managed to sort it out by changing my Sata mode to AHCI from RAID. Not really sure what difference this will make, but at least it works now

Okay so I have everything working now except the fn+brightness keys, all the other fn keys work except for the brightness. Any ideas?

You could try uninstalling, then reinstalling the OSD driver.
