I upgraded and my resolution is all crappy now...all the settings are on 1600x900 like they are supposed to be and all drivers updated.... Microsoft! I really need a way to revert back to Windows 8 as it has screwed up some school work of mine as well!

You would need to do a clean install after backing up the file. More info here.

Dam...that is really not an option during the school year...I remember doing a clean install on this thing was a PITA...especially with getting all the drivers to work correctly etc...

Couldn't he back up his school work and then do a Alien respawn or whatever you call a factory restore these days?

    Cheers,

Is it the fuzziness you are experiencing? If that's it, I just went into the control panel display settings and turn the DPI to small. It's the font scaling that's messing it up. Because we have small screens the OS if scaling up the icons and fonts. Putting it back to native makes every thing small but clear to read.

    Cheers,
