Has it been confirmed that the wireless HD kit is removable and replaceable?!?!
Cause if so I might consider getting one but at a later point. I didn't get one cause it really doesn't interest me, especially for the $300 price tag. -
Yeah I saw some where that you can, but you can't buy them at a later date only when you configure them
There was a complete guide to remove them -
Someone on the m17x forum said there are two different motherboards one has the slot for wirelessHD and one doesn't. I'm not sure if this is 100% correct but if it were would the M14x be the same?
-
Hmm, yeah that might be a problem
-
Well hopefully someone gets one of theirs soon so we can see... The second I get mine im tearing that bad boy apart to add better thermal paste so you better believe ima be taking some pics

Cost me £1000 all together
We are going through eBAY and paypal
and we have recorded and tracked delivery with insurance to cover it
Does this look like a good offer and a good spec machine
and does this look like its safe for both of us ? -
The spec quoted me $1,882.99 before discount.
£1000 = $1651 today
+ebay fee
+paypal charge
+fully insured delivery
+VAT&Duty
Probably it will cost you £1500 delivered. best of luck mate -
That £1000 includes all of that plus + 100 dollars for him
£1000 is final price that i pay -
i dont know anything about the VAT&Duty though
how much would that be ? -
-
is that not sorted when i pay pal him the money from eBAY ?
when you say VAT&Duty is that kinda like encluded when you get charged for converting pounds to dollars ? -
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/tax-and-duty.htm
Nothing is ever included. You will get a bill from Coventry as soon as your parcel hit England, you have to pay it,or return, or disposal. -
we already have a quote for the Shipping with a company.. surely the vat and duty would be taken into account on that..
Basicly hes having it deliverd to him and then forwarding it to me with an international shipping company and we got a quote for like £60 or somthing -
Honestly, £60 is barely enough to fully insure the package.
If the screen is smashed during the transit you it will take years to call these companies for compensation. -
Does anyone have a steam account on here that could help talk me through the VAT issue, i need help understanding how to do this
Thanks
Btw that £60 includes $1500 insurance -
Ok i've just been on Vizio live chat to find out about there wireless device..
they said It transmits on a 60 GHz interference-free frequency so other Wi-Fi devices wont disrupt the quality of the signal.
But does anyone know if this is a legal frequency for me to be using in the UK ? -
Just have him mark the package as a gift when sending it to you. You won't get charged VAT.
Wireless HD ... a little help from are American friends !
