Wireless cutting out and going slow after extended use (Killer Wireless-N1202)

Hi guys been having this problem form a while now and I'm fairly sure it's the card and not the modem nor the game

When gaming, after a couple of houris of playing my wireless begins to cut out for about 3 seconds before reconnecting then sometimes proceeds to go quite slowly for another 20 seconds before picking back up to normal speed - then repeating this 30 seconds later. This is obviously extremely frustrating. If I'm quick and have the killer wireless program open i see it flash to device not detected then back to normal

Iv installed the most recent drivers for the card Killer Wireless-N 1202. When I ran alien autopsy it failed the "Network Link Test". I haven't got mcafee installed

Ive had this problem as well. What I did was i stopped the killer network management program from running at start up and never use it again. Seems to have fixed the problem and have not had any disconnects anymore, ever since.

 

My G73Jh uses a low end Atheros chip, and suffers from a constant disconnection issue when it is in only two rooms away. I found that I was able to resolve this by changing its Adaptor properties, and setting the Scan Valid Interval setting higher.

My M14x also has Killer 1202 wireless, but mostly did not appear to have this problem, but it did disconnect twice. I decided to increase the Scan Valid Interval setting for it as well, which appears to have eliminated disconnections entirely.
If I'm not wrong, this basically increases the maximum ping-timeout interval. The higher the value, the longer the wireless controller waits before registering a disconnection or ping-out.

Do note though, that I think this might increase latency.

Tried both of these but neither worked Now the problem seems to be frequent (every minute or so), intense lag spikes (im talking from 40 --> 4000ms) lasting a few seconds. iv tried multiple connections, multiple games, multiple drivers and fiddled with the settings to no end but i still get this problem. Thinking its time to contact Alienware and see about getting a replacement card... Any other thoughts/recommendations before i contact them?

 

Ok so after all day getting extremely frustrated i thinkk i MAY have fixed it *touches wood*. This is what i did

1. Installed DriverMax
2. Completely uninstalled the Killer drivers/software, restarted, then used the Bigfoot cleaner and ran CCleaner then restarted again
3. Used drivermax to find and install the most recent standalone driver (without the Killer software) then restarted
4. Downloaded ( from this site - download the top (larger) install rather than the stand alone driver as that alone did not work for me) and installed bluetooth driver separately

So far so good - no massive 2000ms spikes though i have yet to do an extended test. Hopefully this might help out anyone else with similar issues

EDIT: Seems to be working well after 2-3hrs of play time (still getting the odd spike but nothing like before)

I also had to install the Bluetooth driver separately (edited previous post with link). Gave it a decent test last night and although i get infrequent spikes after playing for 2+ hours its much better than before
