I am planning on ordering an m14x. I want the WirelessHD option, but it greatly delays the ship time. so instead, I want to order the laptop and the wirelessHD separately...that way i can enjoy the laptop and just install the wirelessHD myself when it comes later.

So...I need to know that the part numbers are for the WirelessHD card and antenna?

I just want to point out that if you want to add this option you will also need to order a new screen with the wireless adapter cable because the stock screen does not have it.

You do not need to order a new screen for the cable. You would also need to buy the antenna cable separately or from Dell.

It's an antenna that you would have to route form the wireless card, through the chassis of the M14x and through the screen. It follows the same route as the Intel WiFi cables.

It might be a tough task but it is possible if you are not afraid to take your laptop apart.
