Right, I'm about to buy this. Will the 3D work with the M14x? Right out of the box?

Or, will I need to buy some sort of cable like HDMI>DVI converter? As I can only see a VGA input..

    Advice please, thanks. :)

My 226 (21.5 inch) worked fine on HDMI.

i believe hdmi doesn't do 120hz only 60hz so 3d is out of the question, you need to either use display port \ dual link dvi

Well the Asus monitor supports PS3 HDMI input. So does that mean I can plug this into my M14x via HDMI and I will recieve 3D?

You need Dual DVI for 3D, sorry dude.

VGA and HDMI won't get you 3D. They only support 60hz while you need 120hz from Dual DVI.

Well i've read different about HDMI. I know you can get a Display Port adapter > dual link for 3D from the iStore which will work.

    plus, HDMI 1.4 High-speed cables support 3D. :)
