Why do you want to disable it? Did it give you any problem?

Because NVTray.exe will give you a shortcut in the notification/hidden icon tray, where you can just one click open the NVIDIA Control Panel, but if you still want to disable it, Open NVIDIA Control Panel, then on the top of the program there should be 6 drop-down menu, click Desktop then unchecked " Show Notification Tray Icon "
