    That's pretty good deal, how did you get that discount and how did you contact them? Did you call them, or were you talking to them via chat. Hopefully I can get a discount somewhat close to this on my next purchase. I'm a student as well!

    Best way to get a discount is through the phone, so you can bribe them down :D I know that AAFES deal's are pretty much firm

    I just bought the m14x with the 1080p and gtx 765m at $1,500 plus tax and my Dell rep gave me 15% discount sfter haggling which came down to $1,275 plus tax.

    well, this was for an m14x r2, but I know of someone who got one fully specced out for just under 1k. Not sure on the details, but was military discount+sale+promo code or something. ^_^
