So after cleaning the Laptop, I noticed key imprints on the screen. I thought it was just dirt and smudge. But after cleaning it with alcohol wipes and a soft cloth. I come to realize its actual scratches on the screen. Will Dells warranty replace the screen or is there a fix to get it not to scratch it? Kinda mad that it does this.

Did you by any chance keep the laptop in a bag that may have been too full with other things? I've experienced that most laptops if squished in a bag will result in scratches on the screen from the keyboard rubbing against the screen.

The bag was never full. Is there a pad you can buy that you can put in between the screen? I think razer might have a mousepad that doubles as a screen protector also.

Yeah, you can get a Razer Kabuto mouspad that you can put in between the keyboard and screen. Some people here have used it to protect the screen and at the same time use as a mousepad.

Thing is that it's not always the users fault, even people that are super careful with their things can still end up having issues. Such is the way of the world.

The screen on the m14x is not the actual screen. It's simply a cheap piece of "edge-to-edge" plastic that can be popped off. Check if Dell will simply replace that part instead of the entire screen. They may even simply replace the entire screen out of goodwill.

Here's a vid to illustrate what I mean. Removing the m14x Screen panel - YouTube

The Shaggymac works wonders, I used to have one when I owned a m14x for a brief period of time.
