My m14x is out of warranty and I believe my subwoofer is officially shot. I've been looking at replacements for the parts are ranging from $50 and up the subwoofer. I know there's an Alienware Rep on the board and I'd hope he/she can provide this info.

I'm looking to replace the damaged/blown subwoofer (the actual speaker not the enclosure) and fit it into the enclosure that supports the subwoofer.

I had one go bad, the speaker cone became detached. It looked like it was fixable, but I didn't bother because mine was under warranty. The sympton was heavy distrotion under load volume.

IDK why i didn't read this one particular comment before. they seem to be small enough to possible fit inside the enclosure.

Would anyone, AW reps in particular, know the wattage of the subwoofer in the R1?
