Just looking for some information on how it runs it? Does the computer handle it perfectly or not?

My 6 year old Dell XPS Laptop played it at max settings at 1920x1200, so I doubt very much you will have issues. Frame rates should be well above 60, so turn on vertical sync and go to it.

Umm whats in the computer?
-
i am playing it right now at ultra setting when plug in and at low setting when on battery so it can last longer
avg 45 fps on ultra and 60 fps on low with Vsync on -
sometimes drops beneath 30 fps for me in 25 man raids so no doesn't run perfectly for me at least
no lag anywhere else though
-
what driver did you use mine keep up at 40 fps in a 25 man or 40 man bg
-
hmm... I think it was the ones already installed on the computer... haven't played wow in like 3 weeks now so haven't tested with my 275.33 current version but doubt it'd be that much of an improvement
-
well lol you should try because i am using that driver right now and my fps is smooth in every single raid even in 25 man
-
Thanks everyone for the information!

Yeah but when? Because with Cataclysme it require a better GPU than Lich King if you want to max it, and when you played it (I don't know how many years ago) there were the ultra setting already? -
I was in Isle of Conquest yesterday and checked my framerate and was well over 100fps on good settings, (I didnt want ultra cause its such a small screen I cant tell the difference).
Mind you I also always run 30mbs of addons which is quite alot and that also reduces framerates.
In other words it works great!!!! -
I've got a 14x with the 555m, i7, 8gb ram, getting 14 fps on ultra and 30-40 on "fair"...anyone have any idea why? thanks.

What driver are you using?
-
I play LotRO.
It runs great!
-
I have never seen wow go over 60 fps on any setting by checking the fps directly on wow. This is with the stock driver. On Ultra it will float between 30 and 60. Keep in mind that this is not using a external software to tell the fps .The game even on low will not go past 60 for what ever reason. Either way it runs great
-
Sounds like you have v-sync enabled.
-
25 man raid.. solid 60 fps. it eats it
-
Plays it fine.
-
How about the heat on long hour sessions, does it reach alarming temperatures?
-
I get 30 FPS avg on Ultra.
m14x owners who play wow!
