I have had this super upgraded m14x for about one month and slowly I am noticing two issues that are making me want to exchange this. The screen gamut is listed as incredibly low (I believe just over 42%) while most of the other laptops in that list rate above 55%. I am noticing that this screen seems really dim at full brightness (yes I am plugged in). What gives?

I have to carry this thing for about 2 miles total everyday for the time being so I am happy that it is not the m17x, but I am sort of wishing I had the bigger screen and the power. For what I have paid for this thing (it has parts that are better than most peoples' desktops) the screen seems stupidly dim.

Under paragraph named Display there is a red link for a modified icc. Load it in control panel/color management and see if it looks better than default. I stay on the custom icc, colors look better (not blueish, but much warmer). If you have probs loading the icc or keeping it loading automatically, let me know.

Radiance screen is 14.5 inches. Youd need a 14.1 I think

I was wondering myself if there is a higher gamut screen which fits the m14x
