    Hi,

My m14x arrived yesterday. Overall im happy with it. I ran hwmonitor and saw temps of 77-83c when gaming. that doesnt seem unusally high for under load temps. what do you think?

Not sure how to get gpu temps as the 555 doesnt fire up until the game is launched. Can you turn it on manually?

seems generally fast for a non ssd based system.

Mine was suppose to come with the sound blaster software but i dont see it on my system. Is it integrated somehow and invisible?

    thanks for looking...

i just finished some gaming on it.
about 45 minutes of LOTRO. high/max dx11 graphics presets, 1600x900.

    max temps
    cpu1: 83, cpu2: 76, cpu3: 73 cpu4: 73 GPU 60.

    min temps: 49, 48, 46, 45

gpu temp is the gt555 as i fired up hwinfo64 after i fired up the game.

so, i dont see a need to repaste or anything.

you cant generally say that games like LOTR max out your CPU

if you want a realistic idea of temperatues download prime 95 and furmark and run them both simultanously for like 15 minutes.. check the temperatures during the test after like 10 minutes! dont close prime 95 and furmark and then check..

then you see how hot the components get when they are stressed! but it might be very possible you have the new gf116 architecture 555m, download GPU-Z 0.5.7 and take a screenshot of it please, there you can see if its 106 or 116
