ok guys so ive done a windows back up on to external hdd with system image and ive done an alien respawn thingy my question is
which one will work better if either will work at all? alternativly i can install a fresh windows copy if needs be but would rather not, though if i do back up via windows or respawn will it slow the ssd down because of the file structures or will it treat it as a fresh install and detect and set as ssd?
thanks in advance
im going to try the windows back up tomorrow i hear it will auto align the drive to ssd and set everything for you ill report back and let you guys now how i got on

ok so neither worked went with a clean install and followed the instuctions on here by some one for driver order seems to be a ok atm
also just incase anyone else has the problem of the ssd not being detected i followed this guide and it worked awsomely SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation - Windows 7 Forums
p.s also after you have finished with that type clean at the end in diskpart -
Nice, im glad to hear it installed perfectly, makes me want to get one even more now. You might want this though. You probably lost all the alienware windows tweaks, like the login page background.
