    I had a m14x but I never got a chance to take it out to school with me..So, i kinda wanna know how people around u react when they see you take out 14x from your bag, do chicks scream first and ask what laptop it is

    A couple of people asked for me to sign their laptops. One chick wanted me to take her to dinner but I had to take the laptop too.

    The M14x is fine for taking out in public because it is not super big and looks like a normal laptop. If you have the lights turned off, then it looks very nice but just like another laptop. This is due mostly to its compact, 14 inch size. Alienware really got the form/size/shape done perfectly with the M14x.

    I am sitting in an airport lounge right now using mine in fact.

    If you want attention and people aren't asking you about your laptop, then what you gotta do is call out to every person that walks by and say "Hey, I noticed you did not notice my laptop and tell me how cool I am or how you wish you had one. Maybe you could do that now and I will forget you being so rude this one time."

    That should help.

    Yeah, most people don't care. The only reactions I get are from my nerd friends who only try to prove to me that their MacBooks and HP Envys are better somehow... I mean I don't even say anything, just get my computer out and they are like "what's the big deal"... "my Envy blah blah blah"... "MacBook is made by Apple, so blah blah blah". Jealousy I guess.
